I just wanted to thank you for your article
"Confessions of a Catholic Convert." I am in the
middle of my RCIA program as a converting
Methodist and have been thinking a great deal of
Reconciliation. I am so scared and embarrassed at
the thought of talking confession for the first
time in my life that I honestly don't know how I
am going to do it. Nevertheless, the words in your
article really has helped me visualize the goal
and hopefully suppress my fears of exposure of the
number of my sins of the 43 years of my life.
I will definitely relay your touching story to my
RCIA class when we discuss this Sacrament. I am
sure it will help my classmates as much as it did
me.
